My thesis set Three Sisters in Puerto Rico in the 1960’s. I felt that the immoral birth control trials and the failed operation bootstrap reflected in the background the struggles of the Three Sisters.

As we move forward in the play the space becomes smaller and darker as opposed to the hope that existed in the start of the play. Until we reach the final act where a white muslin falls covering the yellow wall. I don’t see it as a lack of hope but the need for a blank slate of these sisters.

Set in TFANA as its theatre.
